Holy Ambition: What it takes to make a difference for God, by Chip Ingram

If you want to be challenged, humbled and learn what it takes to be used for Christ, read this book. I started reading it at a time I desperately wanted to be used by God in big ways. In just a few pages, my view changed to that of amazement that God would ever consider using me at all. I have a lot of book left to read, but I look forward to learning more about our awesome God and what he has in store for me.

Thin Places, by Mary DeMuth

Thin Places by Mary DeMuth touches my heart in a deep, authentic way. I’m on the sixth chapter, and it’s already made me smile, nearly cry and find myself thankful for all God has blessed me with. Her authenticity encourages me to be open about my own past, in hopes it can help others. Read Thin Places and be encouraged by the work of an awesome God.
